Vetlink provide a video consultation service between animal owners and UK vets, covering pets, livestock and equine. We built a call and video routing system linking vets working across multiple practices and from home.

Vetlink needed to route calls and video enquiries to a team of vets working across multiple practices and from home, with an easy way for vets to log in and out to manage their workload. After working with other telecoms providers, they had struggled to find one that could fulfil their needs — and an earlier attempt to build the system hadn't delivered.

Our approach

No downloads, just a link

We provided a solution that gives animal owners a fast, easy service with no software to download. It works from any PC, tablet or smartphone — owners simply visit the Vetlink website and click a link. That notifies all on-call vets, who can answer the enquiry and turn a web chat into a video chat at the touch of a button.

Vets supporting each other

We configured an internal system so every veterinary professional can reach every other one — useful for second opinions or finding a better-suited colleague. Our click-to-talk feature lets vets transfer video calls between them when specialist knowledge is needed.

Where it left them

The system does everything Vetlink need, letting veterinary professionals connect and communicate with pet owners remotely to deliver care. High standards of care and compliance were central, and the internal routing means the best-placed professional can always step in.
